How We Multiply Your Donation

At the Bereishis Foundation, we stretch every dollar as far as it can go. But we don’t do it alone; we partner with therapists who use their own experience to help negotiate lower costs from other therapists.

Why does it work? Therapists understand each other in ways we never could. When one therapist reaches out to another on behalf of a struggling family, it often leads to generous rate reductions, not out of obligation, but out of compassion.

Thanks to these conversations, we’ve seen therapy costs drop from $250 to as low as $50, allowing us to help five children instead of just one.

Every dollar you give has the power to heal, and thanks to our therapist network, that power goes even further.

“As a therapist, I’ve seen how heavy it can feel for a family to ask for help, especially when money is tight. When I talk to other therapists about joining this effort, they listen, not because I’m convincing them, but because they get it. Most of us went into this field to help people, not to turn them away. That’s what makes the Bereishis model so powerful, it’s built on empathy from the inside out.”
